The first is for a scholarship in Rob's name that is established with the New York SUNY system to aid needy students ONLY from the Norwich (N.Y.) High School. The second scholarship is being established at St. Bonaventure University, in Olean, NY. "The Robert David Peraza Memorial Scholarship" is an endowed scholarship that was established at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure University, in June 2002. Rob earned both his undergraduate degree (1994) and his MBA (1996) at St. Bonaventure University. The scholarship is aimed at needy students with first choice to Norwich High School (N.Y.) students. A very special thanks to Matt Ouimet, Chairman of the Disney Cruise line for offering the "prize of the night". A Magical four night Disney Cruise to the Bahamas and Disney's private island - three years running!!! (2002-2004). About the St. Bonaventure scholarship Endowed scholarship like Rob's, are gifts that are placed in the University's endowment where they remain in perpetuity. Income earned from this gift is awarded annually to deserving students, based on the Peraza Family's specific criteria, in the form of financial aid. The scholarship is a great way of keeping Rob's memory alive, and here is what it actually can provide: - $25,000- Partial Scholarship annually. - $162,500- One-half tuition scholarship annually. - $325,000- Full-tuition scholarship annually or several partial scholarships annually. - $500,000- Scholarship providing full tuition, fees, and room and board annually. Here is how you can actually make a difference and help keep Rob's memory alive.
